Provision of 463L type air cargo pallets (also referred to as HCU-6/E).

The United Nations Global Procurement Support Section (GPSS), is seeking to gather information on available Air Cargo pallet solutions, including pricing for pallets, tie-down nets, and equipment, delivery schedule, warranty terms, and relevant certifications to make informed decision on purchase requirement for the Center. The requirement is for provision of provision of new (unused) 463L type air cargo pallets (463L HCU-6/E PALLET), from manufacturers or their authorized representatives to support C-130 cargo operations, with equivalent tie-down nets and equipment that are essential components for securely fastening cargo to these pallets during transport. Specifications for 463L Air Cargo Pallets • The 463L air cargo pallets must be brand new and from recognized/authorized manufacturer or supplier, adhering to existing industry standards. • The pallets shall have 22 tie-down rings each with 7,500 lbs capacity in any direction, compatible with 463L load restraint system. • Dimensions: Standard (L x W x H) 108 inches by 88 inches by 2.5 inches. • Material: Constructed from robust, weld-free, UV-light, corrosion and heat resistant, lightweight materials suitable for air transport of heavy equipment and supplies. • Load Capacity: Capable of supporting a minimum load capacity of 10,000 lbs. • Compatibility: Must be compatible with standard 463L cargo handling equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and transport aircraft. • Storage: must be stackable and palletizable for storage. Suppliers are encouraged to propose the different types of 463l Air Cargo Pallets with detailed specifications that they are able to supply. Specifications for Tie-Down Nets and Equipment • Tie-Down Nets: Shall be compatible with 463L air cargo pallets and designed to securely restrain various types of cargo. Nets shall have quick snap hooks and adjusters, one top restraint net and two side restraint nets. • Tie-Down Equipment: Shall include necessary straps, hooks, and fittings to ensure effective and safe fastening of cargo to the pallets. • Couplers: Pallet couplers used to marry two to three 463L pallets, to air transport oversized cargo. Two couplers are required to marry each pair of HCU-6/E / 463L pallets. • Cargo covers • And Tiedown Straps Compliance: Nets and equipment shall meet industry standard for Air Transport Pallets, Nets, and Tie-Down Equipment and any other applicable standards for load restraint systems. Proposals: Proposals should include pricing for pallets, tie-down nets, and equipment, delivery schedule, warranty terms, and relevant certifications. Warranty and Technical Support: • A minimum warranty of 12, preferably 24, months, covering defects in materials and workmanship for pallets, tie-down nets, and equipment. • Supplier shall provide technical assistance, if required, throughout the warranty period. Detailed proposal addressing capability to provide the air pallets and accessories, meeting industry standards including pricing for pallets, tie-down nets, and equipment, delivery schedule, warranty terms, and relevant certifications.. 3. Documentation certifying the supplied equipment is compliant with which industry standard. 4. Colored pictures of the pallets and accessories as part of the technical proposal.
