Description
UNESCAP is looking for a qualified bidder to provide and install automatic sunscreen roller blind at the Secretariat Building to ensure the efficient operation of the energy-saving system. The installation area for each phase is around 1,500 Sq.m. The automatic roller blind system must be certified to integrate into the existing BAS for energy-saving system . 1. Scope of Work: The objective for the supply and installation of automatic sunscreen roller blind for all external glass windows of the office blocks “B” and “A” at the Secretariat Building in the UNESCAP Rajadamnern Avenue to decrease heat from sunlight, establish a comfortable work atmosphere, and conserving energy. Note: UNESCAP will execute and complete the project in office block “B” and continue to install the roller blind in office block “A” when the space is available, the vendor requires providing the price validity for the whole project. 2. Description: • The automatic system must be complatible to integrated into existing BAS system. • The contractor is responsible for doing a site inspection and verifying the glass area in writing of the existing report prior to initiating the installation works. • The contractor's cost shall include for all the materials, accessories, tools, fittings, and all required technical, labour force, technical specifications, quantities, safety harnesses, transportation and overheads etc. to complete the works in accordance with the specifications, and terms and conditions of the contract. 3. Common requirement for automatic sunscreen roller blind: • It must be applied to entire window. • The quantity of the automatic sunscreen roller blind to be installed is approximately 1,500 m2 for each block as shown on the attached tender drawings. • The automatic blind system and light censer must be certified to integrate with the existing BAS system. 4. General Dimensions: (See tender drawing for detail) a. Phase 1 • Secretariat Building, 1st Floor Block “B” windows = 10 sets and the area approximately = 120 Sq.m. • Secretariat Building 2nd-15th Floor (13 Floors) Block “B” windows = 130 Sets and the area approximately = 1,310 Sq.m. b. Phase 2 • Secretariat Building First Floor Block “A” windows = 10 sets and the area approximately = 120 Sq.m. • Secretariat Building 2nd-15th Floor (13 Floors) Block “A” windows = 130 Sets and the area approximately = 1,310 Sq.m. c. Total 2 Phases windows = 280 sets, area approximately = 2,860 Sq.m.
