Provision of EMC Documentum Backup and Recovery Software

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) located in Leidschendam, The Netherlands, seeks Expressions of Interest from authorised resellers suitably experienced to register for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) STL intend to issue. Situation Description: The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) has implemented a system to automate its judicial activities called Legal Workflow on EMC Documentum platform. The system stores all judicial records, documents and metadata in the system. It has also implemented quite a number of complex workflows to automate the process of judicial filings, storage of investigative materials, disclosure of materials from one party to another, etc. A vital function of the system is the ability to perform full-text search for the whole range of documents. Currently STL relies on Symantec Netbackup for storage level content backups and Microsoft SQL Server scheduled backup for database backup. Requirement: STL seeks to implement a robust and highly efficient backup and recovery solution for the EMC Documentum platform, including a minimum 3-year SLA for support and maintenance. The proposed solution must be able to take 'Hot Backup' (without shutting the system down) of the EMC Documentum platform. It must be able to recover granular Documentum objects. While recovering from a failure, the backup solution must not change any metadata of Documentum objects, including the internal system identifier . Invitation for EOI: The STL is aware of the application solution "CYA SmartRecovery and CYA HOTBackup solution", which offers comprehensive ECM Backup and Recovery for situations as described above. The STL invites: a) all "CYA SmartRecovery and CYA HOTBackup" solution certified (i.e. certified partner with EMC) re-sellers and configuration/implementation expert companies, that have experience in setting up the "CYA SmartRecovery and CYA HOTBackup" solution for Documentum platform backup and recovery in a complex (judicial) environment; b) any company that believes it can provide the STL with alternative solutions that meet or exceed the "CYA SmartRecovery and CYA HOTBackup" solution. This alternative solution, however, MUST be supported by EMC (Documentum) and MUST be fully compatible with Symantec Netbackup.
