New clarification added: Dear team, Kindly find below our questions to the Jisr El Wati Project: 1) The output distrubution board was mentioned as SMDB in the drawings (E-626) , however it was refered to SMDB in the BOQ. Is it the same panel board or a different one 2) It was mentioned in the BOQ item 16413.1.1 to price ATS for generator, please advise on the generator size and location. Is is a new geneset or old and where it is located on site ( any drawing for the ATS PANEL?)3) It was mentioned in the BOQ item 16442.3.1 the distribution panel between the EDL and the generators. Could you please advise which panel do you mean on the SLD. (What is SDB-ADL?)4) As for the ligting poles with fixtures item 16525.1.1. You requested 32 ligting poles with fixtures , please provide the fixture wattage and type including location of the poles 5) As for the Lighting control panels located in the Electrical & LC room. in the Prfab room unit layout , It was only shown LCP1, & LCP2. LCP3 wasn't mentioned in the room. Kindly advise on the location of LCP3 and if it should be priced too? 6) What is the role of LCP3 lighing control panel. Kindly provide a drawings table for this panel as provided for LCP1 & LCP27) As for the lighting fixtures, (It was mentioned in the BOQ TYPE U2, however in drawing (E-660) it shows TYPE U1. Is it the same fixture?8) It was mentioned in the table drawings (E-660) lighting fixture LED C03 , however it wasn't mentioned in the BOQ , please advise if it is mentioned anywhere Answers:Dear Bidders,1) Yes it is the same one.2) No generator to be provided. New clarification added: Provision: Transfer Switches (Change-Over Switches), please provide us with necessary drawings and/or documents.LCP-3 is mentioned and detailed on drawings but not found in BOQ, Please advise.It has been noticed that the length of some of the cables connecting the cameras to the NVR exceeds 95 meters, and in this case fiber optic cables shall be used. Please advise.Concerning the playground items, may we propose alternative materials of equivalent quality? Are materials of Chinese origin acceptable?Regarding the temporary protection fence, is it necessary given that the project already has an existing fence that needs rehabilitation? New clarification added: Dear UNOPS,We are writing to seek clarification regarding the lithium battery specifications outlined in the tender documents for the project.The requirement specifies a minimum IP rating of IP54 for the batteries. However, we understand that the batteries will be housed within a prefabricated room, providing them with a controlled environment protected from outdoor elements.Given this, we would like to inquire about the possibility of considering batteries with a lower IP rating, such as IP21 or IP31. These batteries would be sufficient for the protected indoor environment and would offer several advantages:Wider Availability: Lower IP-rated batteries are more readily available from suppliers in Lebanon, increasing our sourcing options(no suppliers for IP54 in Lebanon)Cost-Effectiveness: Lower IP ratings typically translate to lower costs, allowing us to offer a more competitive bid.We would be happy to provide additional information or technical specifications for IP21 or IP31-rated batteries suitable for this application.Answer:Dear Bidders,Yes it is allowed to provide lithium batteries with lower IP rate provided that the prefabricated unit is well sealed regarding water infiltration.Regards,

New clarification added: Dear Sirs,We are kindly requesting from you to postpone the deadline of this bid as mentioned in the pre-bid meeting for the following reasons:1- The technical specifications file was damaged and we didn't have access to this file until sunday 24/03/2024 which delayed the pricing procedure.2- The second reason for postponing the deadline is the holidays that will also affect and delay the bid preparation.
