United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Syria Programme is inviting interested vendors to submit an Expression of Interest for the anticipated solicitation exercise to establish a Contract for the Rehabilitation of Vital Commercial Streets including Restoration of secondary and tertiary roads and Provision and installation of solar lighting in Homs city, Syria. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate vital roads in Homs city including the sidewalk tiles, curbstone, asphalt layer and maintenance of existing and supply & installation of new solar lighting devices. The scope of works includes but not limited to: • Debris Removal • Restoration of surface asphalt • Restoration of damaged sidewalks • Restoration of traffic signs and bus stops • Provision and installation of solar lighting (approx 60 watts capacity). Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form and sending it either electronically or via email.
