Roof Waterproofing Works on one (1) Building (Data Center) at the United Nations Information and Communication Technology Facility (UNICTF), in Valencia, Spain

The United Nations Information and Communication Technology Facility (UNICTF) located in Valencia, next to Valencia's Airport in Spain (Avenida Comarques del Pais Valencia, 2, 46930 – Quart De Poblet), seeks a qualified contractor to carry out Roof Waterproofing works, consisting in laying a liquid waterproofing membrane, aimed at resolving water infiltration issues on the roof of the Data Center Building. HVAC external unit machines are currently installed on the roof, and the necessary waterproofing works are expected to be carried out without removing them. Photovoltaic panels will need to be temporarily removed, replaced and connected after the completion of the waterproofing works. Additionally, the existing metal roof will be replaced with a traditional roof featuring the appropriate slope. The purpose of the works is the roof waterproofing of one (1) building built in 2008 and the relevant roof is affected by water infiltration issues in various positions. The works shall include: - Executive design, workplan and submission of declaration to the pertinent authority; - Temporary fencing for the construction site; - Dismantling of the metal roof; - Waterproofing of the existing concrete roof, with appropriate slope; - Removal and repositioning of photovoltaic panels; - Roof waterproofing using a liquid waterproofing membrane; - Site cleaning and disposal of debris. Subcontracting is allowed for all categories of works. It is anticipated that the resulting Contract will be established for a one-time project for the roof waterproofing and works are to be carried out in 70 working days. The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI.
