New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Please find below the clarification responses to your queries:Question 1: As mentioned in the key requirement, please explain what is a local data center and who will provide us with a local data center?Answer: The local data center refers to a computing infrastructure, including servers and storage, capable of hosting applications. In this case, the Ministry of Education (MoE) will provide the local data center as the hosting environment.Question 2: In Scalability 1.5 million concurrent users, our understanding is all 1.5 million users will be giving the exam at the same time. If yes, then 1.5 is a mix of PPT and CBT both? Do we have a separate number for both?Answer: No, the 1.5 million concurrent users specifically pertain to online exams only, not Computer-Based Testing (CBT). The requirements for CBT are outlined separately in the tender document, and the 1.5 million users mentioned are solely for online exams.Question 3: Page No.5: The platform should be able to deliver exams in OVA format. Need more clarity in this.Answer: The OVA format is intended for users in remote schools with limited or no connectivity. This format facilitates exam delivery in environments with challenging connectivity issues.Question 4: Page no. 5: The platform should be able to track student progress and scores even when they are taking exams offline. Please explain offline here, whether it's PPT or CBT.Answer: Offline tracking applies to Computer-Based Testing (CBT) when users are taking exams in OVA format. It ensures the ability to monitor student progress and scores even in environments without a stable online connection.Question 5: Page no. 5: The ability to proctor exams remotely. Proctor will be from the Department or from the agency?Answer: Proctors for online exams will be assigned by the Ministry. The responsibility for proctoring during online exams lies with the Ministry itself, not an external agency.Question 6: We seek clarification on the statement "To acquire a software application that can be deployed in both a local cloud environment and local data center." Is the client interested in SAAS, or the ownership of the whole software infrastructure (including the source code)?Answer: The preference is to have the application hosted either at our premises or the local MoE data center. While Software as a Service (SaaS) is preferred, it should be from the local data center. While proposing the source code is advantageous, it is not mandatory for consideration.Thank you for your inquiries. Best regards,
