Rehabilitation of 75 Houses in Al Dakha, Mualla District, Aden Governorate, Yemen

United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter refered to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Yemen Programme seeks the interest of qualified contractors to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Rehabilitation of 75 Houses in Al Dakha, Mualla District, Aden Governorate, Yemen.The project mainly involves repair and rehabilitation works of houses with minor to medium damages and without structural damages. The scope of works consists of: •Civil works - includes site preparation, demolition works and debris removal, repairing concrete roof damages, stairs and parapets, cement plastering, installation/repair of doors and windows, painting (emulsion and oil-based), roof waterproofing, installation of wall and floor tiles. •Sanitary/plumbing works - installation of water tanks, rehabilitation or installation of new inspection manholes, drainpipes, sinks, ablution and toilet facilities, etc. •Electrical works – repair and/or installation of wiring, main panel, sockets, switches, and lighting, fans etc. Subsequent to the closing date of this EOI, UNON anticipates to issue a formal solicitation document to potential companies who have expressed interest to provide the services in accordance with the requirements that will be fully specified in the solicitation document.
