Oxygen Analyzer

Description of requirements:

UNICEF is requesting Expressions of Interest from eligible suppliers in preparation for a solicitation exercise for Oxygen Analyzers to measure the oxygen concentration in a flow of gas from a medical gas source (e.g., oxygen concentrator) or, with adapters, through a medical gas-flow device such as a ventilator or anaesthesia system, or within an environment such as oxygen hood and infant incubator. The products identified fall under the following categories:

Category 1: Oxygen analyzer, ultrasonic  

Category 2: Oxygen analyzer, electrochemical

Potential suppliers:

This REoI is addressed to suppliers and manufacturers with experience in the sourcing, manufacturing and supply of oxygen analyzers.

Only suppliers and manufacturers with a Quality Management System in conformity with at least one of the following standards are invited to express interest:

(a) Supplier: ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 certificate (as applicable) including scope.

(b) Manufacturer: ISO 13485 including scope

To be considered for the planned tender, it is preferable, but not a requirement for potential suppliers to have a website providing access to the product information.

Only products with at least one of the following pre-market approvals / market clearances will be considered in the planned solicitation exercise:

(a) European Union: Regulatory agency in the European countries;

(b) USA: Food and Drug Administration (FDA);

(c) Canada: Health Canada;

(d) Japan: Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA);

(e) Australia: Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Procedure for submission of EoI:

Interested suppliers are encouraged to complete the attached EoI form and return it to UNICEF on or before 28th June 2022.

Please note:

(a) Prices are not required at this stage;

(b) This REoI does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EoI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation document when issued;

(c) UNICEF reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation document;

(d) UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REoI and/or solicitation process.
