Proof reading and correction of OCR'd documents for the PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty)
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), one of the 16 specialized agencies of the United Nations (UN) system of organizations, is dedicated to promoting the use and protection of intellectual property throughout the world, including the administration of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The Organization has its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
WIPO has now issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to select a supplier for the provision of proof reading and correction services of documents previously converted electronically into machine-encoded text using the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for the PCT.
Interested companies are invited to download the full set tender documents from WIPO’s In-Tend procurement Web site under “Current Tenders” and under the number PTD/12/021 at the following address:
https://ungm.in-tendhost.co.uk/wipo/
You must be registered as a User in order to access the documents. If you have not already done so, please click on “New User Registration” on the left-hand menu and enter your company’s details.
Proposals must be prepared in English and must be received by WIPO at its Geneva address no later than June 11, 2012 at 16h00 CET.
