Refurbishment of Various Accommodation Buildings at the UN Camp (CGS) in Famagusta

1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the refurbishment of various accommodation buildings, up to a maximum of seven (7) buildings, subject to availability of funds, at the United Nations Camp (CGS) in Famagusta. The renovation is intended to be a complete turnkey contract which will include the provision of professional construction expertise, the supply and installation of material and fixtures and all required building and electrical installations, materials and works. 2. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Interested vendors are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information including complete company details and experience profile using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Chief Procurement Officer either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than 22 March 2012. 3. This is not an invitation for submission of a bid. This is a request for expressions of interest (EOI), in order to identify qualified companies interested in participating in the solicitation exercise. 4. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
