Tender description: This tender is for the provision Restoration of National Puppet Theater, Tirana Albania
The Scope of Work shall include all required implementation activities to ensure the correct and proper realization of the project, complete the refurbishment works for the Restoration of National Puppet Theater to the acceptance of UNOPS as specified in the contract documents. These works include and are not limited to the following:
Site clearance works, including documentation of fallen stone pieces. Additionally, in order to ensure an environmentally friendly approach to works the contractor shall undertake all Good Restoration and Conservation Practices and small-scale environmental impact.

The Scope of Work shall include all required implementation activities to ensure the correct and proper realization of the project, complete the refurbishment works for the Restoration of National Puppet Theater to the acceptance of UNOPS as specified in the contract documents. These works include and are not limited to the following:
Site clearance works, including documentation of fallen stone pieces. Additionally, in order to ensure an environmentally friendly approach to works the contractor shall undertake all Good Restoration and Conservation Practices and small-scale environmental impact.
The restoration interventions for this project consist in:
- Site mobilization;
- Restoration works and reconstruction works in the stage part of the building, including underground civil works. The reconstruction consists of a faithful reconstruction of this space both plan and altimetry wise;
- Restoration of the roof structure and drainage (the replacement of the roof, implementing a drainage structure on the perimeter of the building);
- Façades and interior restoration;
- New mechanical works, new electrical circuits, water supply system, waste water system, HVAC, firefighting system,
- Scene technology works: fire curtain, orchestra lift, stage lifts machinery, auditorium seats, theatre textile, audio boards/stage audio system, hall’s projector, the supporting raising system etc.
- Accessibility scheme for people with disabilities and emergency exit scheme

New clarification added: Dear bidder,In the section “Criteria '' in esourcing it is defined that the total turnover for the last 5 years should be 6mil EUR. Bidder needs to provide evidence of total turnover of the company; The evaluation is going to take into account the list of required turnover as minimum, meaning if minimum is not met the bidder will be failed. The bidder to submit the annual turnover of the last 5 years certified by the Tax Directorate. Regarding the required personnel, it can be either in the company's payroll or contracted for this specific contract. As per other criteria they are all listed in the section “Criteria”and all the offers will be evaluated against the criteria published in esourcing. Kind regards,UNOPS Albania

New clarification added: Dear BidderWe at UNOPS see these opportunities to be very valuable for gaining experience. In that respect we are requiring bidders to have in their plans a number of cycles of engagement of students for their practical learning. At this stage we would require your commitment in the form of a statement where you define how many cycles of training you would provide and how are you going to organize both the engagement of the students and their practical learning. By cycles we mean, i.e having a group of students join the construction sites in a number of cycles, where every time there is a new group of students so that many can benefit from this experience.Kind regards,UNOPS Albania

New clarification added: Dear BidderThe request is to have one person assigned to a position of a project manager and one person for a position of conservation architect given their responsibilities are different, hence we would require you to propose two separate persons for these positions.
