Description
The United Nations Support Office for AMISOM (UNSOA) requires contractual services for the supply of physical verification of the United Nations Owned Equipment (UNOE) and Contigent Owned Equipment (COE) at the various locations of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) in Mogadishu, Somalia.
The United Nations defines property in two major categories: Non-expendable and Expendable property depending on value. Both categories of property are Received and Inspected (R&I’d) upon delivery from vendor or other Missions. These are either allocated a barcode defining the item as Non-Expendable or not, defining the items as Expendable and an inventory record created in the UN inventory system by the R&I unit. The barcoded items referred to assets or United Nations Owned Equipment (UNOE) upon completion of receipt process are under the custody of clients such as warehouse manager, UN staff members, contractors working on behalf of the UNSOA or our prominent client, the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and are subject to 100% verification during a given financial year (1 July- 30 June) and hence the verification service
Companies interested to participate in the tender are requested to submit their EOI by fax or e-mail as indicated above. The EOI must include the following company’s information:
• Company’s Name, Profile and background and full audited accounts
• Postal address of the company
• Phone number, Fax number, E-mail address of contact person
• Name of the contact person, Title of the contact person

This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOA reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
