The United Nations is planning to invite competitive proposals for the long term supply of fuel and associated services in support of the United Nations Integration Transition Assistance Mission in SUDAN (UNITAMS). Description of requirement: The primary aim is to enter into a long-term fuel contract, which, inter-alia will include the provision of Jet A-1, Diesel, Gasoline and Oils and Lubricants to UNITAMS locations in Sudan. The requirements entail the use of commercial facilities, as well as the establishment and operation of turnkey fuel sites, storage and maintenance of fuel reserves, provision of oil and lubricants, into aircraft, into vehicle and generator refueling services and bulk delivery services including the establishment of a quality control programme. The full details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents. Formal solicitation will require the submission of bid securities. No further details of the requirements will be provided until the solicitation is issued. Split Award: The UN might decide to award separately the options for Jet A-1 (Option 1) and Diesel, Gasoline and O&Ls on the other (Option 2).
