Description

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Zambia on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ), Department of National Registration, Passport and Citizenship (DNRPC) invites interested vendors to apply for the Development and Commissioning of an Integrated National Registration Information System (INRIS).

Summary of Proposal:

The Government of the Zambia intends to implement an electronic Integrated National Registration Information System. The system is to comprise a central datacenter, disaster recovery site, 74 district sites and mobile registration kits. The districts are to be connected to the central and DR sites via satellite or other available communications technologies.

Data captured on the kits is to be processed on the central site, and ‘smart’ ID cards produced at selected sites, after biometric and other data verification and authentication of the applicant.
