Consultancy for the Evaluation of FBFD/DFS structure and processes

To improve the capacity of the DFS, it is proposed that Field Budget and Finance Division (FBFD) will undertake an evaluation of FBFD’s current organisational structure and processes in order to determine how FBFD can better serve field missions. The evaluation will aim to ensure alignment of FBFD structures and business processes within the Global Field Support Strategy (GFSS). The study will examine FBFD’s organisational structure/distribution of resources and evaluate its mechanisms, business processes and procedures. The evaluation will (a) assess the extent to which the current organisational structure and mechanisms are effective in addressing field requirements, (b) provide recommendations to improve FBFD’s ability to fulfill its mandate, and (c) provide recommendations with regard to functions and processes that can be considered for transfer to UNLB/Global Service Centre (GSC). The Consultancy firm is expected to have at least 10 years of progressively responsible and real experience in selecting, designing, implementing and operating strategic management solutions and should possess a credible track record in analysing, assisting and acting as change agents for diverse operations in military, commercial or international organizations.
