Dear Sir/Madam,
The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite prospective bidders to submit A Quotation for the Provision of Rental Vehicles for the purpose of transportation services of staff within Kabul and Herat Cities for UNOPS-RSHQ Program. in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the Schedule of Requirements as set out in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
If you are interested in submitting a quotation in response to this RFQ, please prepare your quotation in accordance with the requirements and process as set out in this RFQ and submit it to UNOPS by the deadline for quotation submission set out in the Section I: RFQ Particulars.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. In order to access the full UNOPS tender details, request clarifications on the tender, and submit a vendor response to a tender using the system, vendors need to be registered as a UNOPS vendor at the UNGM portal and be logged into UNGM. Vehicle rental
New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Thanks for the request clarification email; Please note the following answers in bold.1) During shuttle services of local UNOPS staff will UN provide security (convoy) ? The shuttle services means (pick up UNOPS staff from their homes and drop down them to the office) within the city of Kabul and the vehicles are requested for Herat it will be there in Herat city; There is no need to comuter between the provices - UNOPS does not convoy them.2) Can the vehicle be parked within the vicinity of UN compound between 8am to 16pm ? UNOPS can not give permissions to allow or park rental vehicles inside the UNOPS compound. It belongs to the contractor to keep the vehicles in a safe place.3) Who will be responsible for the insurance like Accident/DBA/Medical insurance including repatriation coverage for UNOPS staff. The company will be responsible for any accident. The insurance of the staff is a separate issue and is not on the service provided, and will also be based on negligence.Thank you.UNOPS Procurement Team
