Dear Preferred Supplier,

Further to our invitation to join the UN Global Market, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) kindly requests your Technical and Financial Proposals as detailed in the Terms of Reference (Annex A) of this RFP REQ21-00004799(SG) for a “Climate Change and Health Specialist, HNAP for Saint Lucia”.

Kindly note the following:
1. After download and review of the source documents bidders will be required to “Opt In” or “Opt Out” of the Project by 20 July 2021. All correspondence will be conducted via the IN-TEND Correspondence module.

2. Bidders will have an opportunity to pose any questions or clarifications by 15 July 2021 by 4pm and responses will be provided by 19 July 2021 by 4pm. All correspondence will be conducted via the IN-TEND Correspondence module.

3. Bidders must submit their proposals by uploading to the IN-TEND, PAHO’s electronic tendering system, on or before 23 July 2021 at 4:00pm Eastern Caribbean Time.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your submission will reach the PAHO/WHO on or before the deadline. Proposals that are received by PAHO/WHO after the submission deadline, may not be considered for evaluation.

By submitting an offer in response to this solicitation, you affirm that you comply with the responsibilities described in the United Nations Supplier Code of Conduct, http://www.un.org/depts/ptd/pdf/conduct_english.pdf.

Any Purchase Order or Contract that will be issued as a result of this RFP shall be subject to the General Terms and Conditions attached hereto.

PAHO is not bound to accept any Proposals, nor award a Contract or Purchase Order, nor be responsible for any costs associated with a Supplier’s preparation and submission of a Proposal/Quotation, regardless of the outcome or the manner of conducting the selection process.
