Participation in the Sale and Disposal of various scrap

The Global Procurement Support Section (GPSS) on behalf of Office of Special Envoy to the Secretary-General in Burundi (OSESG-B) hereby invites interested vendors to submit their Expression of Interest in the participation of Sale and Disposal of various scrap. The scrap includes the following listed items, available for disposal on a “where is” and “as is” basis: Computer Equipment, electronic waste and parts thereof, Prefabricated buildings, sea containers and their parts thereof, Vehicles and parts thereof, Furniture and parts thereof, Construction elements, Metal, Household appliances and parts thereof, Communications equipment and parts thereof, Engineering equipment and parts thereof, Used tires, filters, plastics and cell batteries. All items for disposal shall be measured in kilograms (kg). The list above is not exhaustive and the items for disposal may vary at the time of disposal. Similarly, the final disposal quantities may vary at the time of disposal. The estimated total volume of scrap available for disposal is 9,800 kg. The scrap collection location shall be at a designated OSESG Burundi site in Bujumbura. Successful vendor(s) will be required to pay all taxes and duties as applicable and as levied on the used items by the Government of Burundi and the vendor(s) shall provide documentary proof to OSESG-B before removal of scrap. Please note that this request for expression of interest is not an ivitation to submit bids and submission of EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of solicitation documents. GPSS reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline. Please submit expression of interest may be submitted by email to dos-pd-gpss@un.org, clearly marked in the subject of the email "EOI - Participation in the Sale and Disposal of various scrap", to be received not later than 05 March 2021, 17:00 hours (Uganda Time).
