Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified contractor to establish a contract for the Supply and Delivery of Atmospheric Water Generators to the UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy on an “as and when required basis”. The Atmospheric Water Generators will be utilized to provide quality potable water suitable for human consumption in various UN Field Missions locations; therefore, the supplied items shall be appropriate for use in critical harsh environmental conditions and be suitable for different climate zones (e.g. desert, tropical country, mountain, etc.) in which there are several variations of the relative natural forces (e.g. temperature, humidity, wind, etc.). The requirement is for two (2) types of Atmospheric Water Generators which shall meet, among others, the following mandatory technical specifications: Type 1) - Small Scale Atmospheric Water Generator: - Nominal Production Capacity: 50 lt./day (± 10%) of generated potable water, at 30°C, 80% Relative Humidity; - Installation type: Indoor or outdoor (under shelter) freestanding installation; - Power Supply: AC 220-230V, 50 Hz; - Power consumption: Maximum 1000 W; - Refrigerant gas: R134-a or R407C or other equivalent. Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP)=0, Global Warming Potential (GWP)<1800, not set for withdraw from the market within 5 years; - Internal Storage tank: Minimum 20 lt. (suitable material for safe drinking water storage); - Water quality: Dedicated probes must constantly monitor the quality of the water to an acceptable water quality standard - World Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Rome 2007 – D.L. 2001 n. 31, Italy) or equivalent International standards. Type 2) - Medium Scale Atmospheric Water Generators: - Nominal Production Capacity: 500 lt./day (± 10%) of generated potable water, at 30°C/80% Relative Humidity; - Installation type: Indoor or outdoor (under shelter) freestanding installation; - Power Supply: AC 380-400V, 50 Hz; - Power consumption: Maximum 6 kW; - Refrigerant gas: R134-a or R407C or other equivalent. Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP)=0, Global Warming Potential (GWP)<1800, not set for withdraw from the market within 5 years; - Internal Storage tank: Minimum 200 lt. (suitable material for safe drinking water storage); - Water quality: Dedicated probes must constantly monitor the quality of the water to an acceptable water quality standard - World Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Rome 2007 – D.L. 2001 n. 31, Italy) or equivalent International standards. The supply and delivery of each item shall also be inclusive of a one-year spare parts service package to carry out the periodic maintenance. Delivery Terms: Delivery at Place (DAP) UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy (INCOTERMS 2010). Delivery Time: Within eighty (80) days from the receipt of the Purchase Order. The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of two (2) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the contract for three (3) additional periods of one (1) year each (2+1+1+1).
