Description
UNDP is seeking the services of three (3) suitably qualified legally constituted entities to deliver this initiative at scale and with the required depth. The overall objective of the assignment is to equip 10,000 young Ugandans aged 11 -18 years in atleast one hundred (100) schools across Central Uganda - Buganda including Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area; Eastern Uganda  - Bugisu, Bukedi, Busoga, Sebei and Teso; Northern Uganda  - Acholi, Karamoja, Lango and West Nile; Western Uganda  - Bunyoro and Tooro; Southwestern Uganda - Ankole and Kigezi) with foundational AI literacy and digital skills, preparing them for dignified and fulfilling work in the rapidly evolving, technology-driven global economy.  The specific objectives of the assignment include:
  1. To deliver a structured, age-appropriate AI literacy and digital skills training that enable critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving across real-world sectors.
  2. Foster responsible, ethical, and innovative use of AI among school learners, ensuring learners understand issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias and the societal implications of automated systems.
