New clarification added: Bidder's Question:The BOQ Division 3 - Concrete works mentions "slab on grade" and "ramp on grade" amount of 10 cu.mtr. respectively. However the Architectural/Landscape and Structural drawings indicate that the finish is in stamped concrete 15cm thick & underneath shall be compacted subbase course. Should we consider a slab/ramp on grade cast underneath the stamped concrete slab? BOQ Division 3 - Concrete works item "03300.2.4" & Division 5 in Mechanical works item"5.3.1" & "5.3.2" & "5.3.3". Both divisions describe casting of reinforced concrete manholes with iron covers, Shall we price it in the structural BOQ or mechanical BOQ? UNOPS Response:The slab on grade top finish shall be stamped concrete as per Architect requirement, 200 MM AGGREGATE SUB-BASE is be provided below slab on grade as shown on item 02721.1.1 (no double slab). 2, Please refer to the previous reply for the same query, ”Their concrete quantity is included in 03300.2.4. Does the formula include both options, or should we choose the lowest-priced option for painted black steel and not the stainless steel one? Also, the submission date was on Sunday—if possible, could you please complete it during the week? UNOPS Responses:Please price both items. The total sum of BOQ includes the steel option. The item 05120 in the BOQ is for existing steel fence that requires only painting. The mention drawing S620 is for the new pergola while the new concrete fence details are provided in the drawings S-502 which is not related to the above indicated item 05120.The New fence and the Pergola steel painted steel structures are to be included in scope a lumpsums.2.It’s LS as clearly mentioned in the BOQ. The 52m2 is an estimation for the total area of the wall needing repair to give you an idea for the extent of the works. Should these be priced at a later stage?Additionally, regarding the provisional items, should we exclude them from pricing?
