New clarification added: Q6Notification of Renewal does not mean the Products are not NAFDAC registered. It is a temporary note to allows the importer to import and gives NAFDAC necessary time to re-issue the NAFDAC CERTIFICATE. The products are duly registered with NAFDAC. I hope this explanation changes your position on Notification of RenewalAns 6We will only accept a valid NAFDAC license given that there is a risk that renewal may not be granted.

New clarification added: Q5We have a NAFDAC CERTIFICATE. However, the certificate is up for renewal. At this moment, NAFDAC can only provide a Notification of Renewal to us since it may take about 3 to 6 months to issue the new Certificate. My question is : Will the lapsed NAFDAC CERTIFICATE and a NOTIFICATION OF RENEWAL be sufficient for the purpose of this tender?Ans 5Only the valid NAFDAC certificate will be accepted as this is a prerequisite to importation and use of gloves in Nigeria. Products without NAFDAC license will be disqualified.Notification of renewal shall not be accepted.

New clarification added: Q3Regarding NAFDAC certificate, only a few products has been properly registered locally with NAFDAC which might limit the competitive approach your bidding process intends to accomplish. Can a bidder provide proof of NAFDAC listing instead of the certificate?Ans 3Please we need the NAFDAC Product Certificate.

Can we use the NAFDAC Product Certificate from the manufacturer?Ans 1Yes, you can submit the NAFDAC Product Certificate from the manufacturer only if that same manufacturer is also not bidding for this same tender.
