Description
The United Nations (UN) Department of Operational Support (DOS) is seeking to establish Global Systems Contract for the supply of Field Defence Stores. The Global Systems contract will enable all UN entities to place Purchase Orders directly with the awarded vendor(s), based on the prices, terms, and conditions specified in the final contract for Field Defence Stores. The contract will be initially awarded for two years, with the option to extend it for three additional one-year periods (2+1+1+1), at the UN's discretion, and contingent on the contractor's satisfactory performance. The following items shall be supplied under Field Defence Stores: 1. Concertina wires 2. Ground Locking Pegs 3. Corrugated Galvanized Iron sheets: a) Zinc Galvanized CGi Sheets b) Aluminium Zinc Coated Profiled roofing sheets 4. Angle Iron Pickets of varied sizes 5. Sandbags - a) Burlap b) Heavy duty sandbag c) Polypropylene 6. Barbed wire 7. Binding wire The products shall offer Service life and corrosion resistance of 5 years. The laboratory test certificates/ reports shall be requested during solicitation process to confirm the proposed material specifications along with other related documents. The bidders must be either the manufacturer or an authorized supplier of material and shall have minimum of 5 years of experience. The detailed Scope of Requirements (SOR) including the performance and technical specifications, quantities, expected delivery dates along with other bidding documents will be sent out to all bidders responding to this Expression of Interest (EOI) once the formal procurement is advertised. Companies that wish to participate in the upcoming tender are requested to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) as per below instructions, and to duly register in the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). At this point, interested vendors are required to express their interest via UNGM only. Vendors are advised that this EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UN reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
