Project: Construction of Yatta Vocational School
Location: Sawakneh Street (Near Yatta Governmental Hospital) - Yatta City
Background:
Within its mandate; UNOPS has signed an agreement with the Korean International Cooperation Agency
(KOICA) to support the Palestinian Ministry of Education (MOE) to implement and handover the Yatta
Vocational School project. UNOPS will undertake the design and construction of the school in addition to the procurement and installation of furniture and machinery.
[Yatta Vocational School Campus, which will consist of the following two buildings:
● Building A: 4-Floor Building which consists of Administration Floor with related facilities. In addition to three educational / vocational floors, consisting of 5 Classrooms, Biology/Chemistry Laboratory, Technology Lab, Technical Drawings Rooms, Library/Multi-purpose hall, 5 Workshops/Vocational Areas, including Aluminum and Welding Workshop, Electrical Utilization Workshop, Plumbing and Central Heating Workshop, Beatification, Graphic Design
● Building B: 2-Floor Building for the Auto-Mechatronic Workshop including related classroom/stores and teachers room, WC unit.
● Landscape Works: External and Internal Retaining and Boundary Walls, Two playgrounds, Septic Tank, Water tank, pump room, electrical room and related ramps, and green areas
Total Built up area is 3,557 sq meters for Buildings A+B+related constructions in the landscape
Total Land area is 4,365 sq meters.
The school is designed to match sloped nature of the land

New clarification added: Q.11 In Schedule 0.5 The resume for key personal.Can we upload the cvs for required personal instead of filling the forms??Q.12 In Submission documents .Supplier forms 0/64 What shall we do are we eligible to anwer all questionnaires or the last one only . Or we can skip them.Q.13 Following to my first request . In Schedule 0.5 what is needed is to fill one form for the one key personal?? Or shall we fill for all staff/or can upload cvs?And in schedule 4.4 we need to fill the table with all personal? Are we obliged to send cvs also? or will be requested later?Q.14 what is the brand name for lighting units?Q.15 item 6.8 under section 06 internal finishes , unit for this item is L.S BUT THER IS NO FIRE ZONE on the drawings, so we need to clarifiaction about this ? New clarification added: Q1- sec-00(mobilaization ) : shall have seperate price paid seperatley or will included in remain tender prices as usual tenders ? if it will paid seperatley, how will be paid ? total after mobilization finished at the begining of project ?UNOPS Reply: Bidders are referred to Sec-00 (Mobilization, Demobilization and Health & Safety and Environmental Requirements), as this is a priced item, covering mobilization, Health and Safety requirements throughout the project implementation, and demobilization, all as mentioned in Sec-00. The method of payment shall be as mentioned in BoQ item 0.01.Q2-Item (1-2) backfill : if the backfill materials used from excavated from site, will be calculated in the item quantities?UNOPS Reply: Please note that item (1-2) mentions that backfill with approved selected material (from site or imported), and backfilling material specifications is mentioned in the same item. Q3- Backfilling bet. G.B & under S.O.G usually in schools not nessesary be in layers & compacted because the s.o.g is suspended . can you confirm on this issue ?UNOPS Reply: Bidders shall comply with the design documents, as it mentions that backfilling shall be in compacted layers in the BoQ and Design drawings. New amendment added #2: - Qualification criteria No.3.4 is amended as follows: " The bidder has successfully delivered at least one similar project in nature (educational/public) construction works contract with a value not less than one million USD during the last [five (5)] years prior to bid opening".- Qualification criteria No.3.5 is amended as follows: " The bidder has the registration under the category/grade Classification First grade Buildings A or First grade Buildings B or Building Second Grade as per the Palestinian contractors union national classification or equivalent in the body that governs and regulates the construction industry in their Country."- Please consider Document named"Small Works - ITB- Sections II, III, IV, V- Bid Requirements_V01.pdf" to reflect these changes.
