The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) has a requirement to establish a Long Term Contract for the Provision of Pest Control, Fumigation and Disinfection Services at its premises located in Brindisi, Italy. An indication of the services to be provided are as follows: 1) Regular treatments for pest control and disinfection services are required at designated areas. The Contractor will be responsible for industry-standard on-site services, products, application expertise, monitoring, and effective service management as follows: a. Services required include: Rodent control, Fumigation, and Disinfection inside buildings b. Indoor spaces to be treated include, but not limited to: Main doors (along frames and thresholds), emergency doors (along frames and thresholds), foyers/lobbies, stairs, toilets, kitchens, Common areas, storerooms, corridors, basements, warehouses, workshops c. Outdoor areas include: gardens, roads, hardstands 2) Additional services may be required on "an as and when" required basis, such as special treatments of other pests (ants, cockroaches, termites, wasps, bees) and thermo-fumigation of sewers. The Contract will have an initial duration of three (3) years, with the option to be extended for two (2) periods of one (1) year each, up to a maximum contract period of five (5) years. Bidders will be required to attend a MANDATORY site visit at UNGSC’s premises to understand the site conditions. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to have first‐hand knowledge of the site to understand the scope of the requirement.
