Request for Expression of Interest (REoI) - Hearing aids and diagnostic devices.
Description of requirements:
UNICEF is requesting Expressions of Interest from eligible suppliers in preparation for a solicitation exercise for Hearing aids and diagnostic devices. The products identified fall under the following categories:
Category 1: Hearing Aids
Category 2: Audiological Equipment
Category 3: Calibration Equipment
Category 4: 3D Earmold Production
Category 5: Accessories
For an itemised list of products per category, please refer to the attached Hearing aids and diagnostic devices - Product list.
Potential suppliers:
This REoI is addressed to suppliers with experience in the sourcing and supply of a wide range of the goods illustratively specified in the excel spreadsheet and above categories.
UNICEF is particularly interested in identifying competitive suppliers that can offer all items within 1 category, or within several selected categories, or possibly, the full range (all 5 categories).
Suppliers with a Quality Management System in conformity with the following standards (as applicable) are invited to express interest:
- ISO 13485:2016
- ISO 9001
To be considered for the planned tender it is preferable, but not a requirement for potential suppliers to have a website providing access to the product information.
Only products with at least one of the following pre-market approvals / market clearances will be considered in the planned solicitation exercise:
(a) CE Mark (EU)
(b) FDA (USA)
(c) Device License (Japan)
(d) Device License (Canada)
(e) GMPALS (Australia)
Procedure for submission of EoI:
Interested suppliers are encouraged to complete the attached Expression of interest form (EoI) and return it to UNICEF by email to:

Please note:
- Prices are not required at this stage;
- Questions about e.g. conformity of the supplier’s products will not be entertained;
- This REoI does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EoI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation document when issued;
- UNICEF reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation document.
- UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REoI and/or solicitation process.
