The world's largest provider of vaccines for developing countries, UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education for all boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS. UNICEF is funded entirely by the voluntary contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations and governments.

UNICEF Yemen is providing support to the children of Yemen through diverse programme intervention. To achieve the programme objectives, UNICEF procures diverse goods and services every year.

Purpose of the this Request for Information (RFI):

UNICEF through its support to the government of Yemen to meet the needs of children and their mothers procures multiple goods and services on need basis. Some of these supplies/services are procured from local vendors, manufacturers,  and firms. UNICEF keeps a database of these local vendors that can be consulted at any time a tendering process is undertaken.

As part of the UNICEF market engagement strategy and based on market evolution, renewed market assessment is undertaken to identify suppliers with the relevant experience and capacity to provide goods and services to UNICEF.

UNICEF is requesting for information from all qualified suppliers and vendors to submit information about their company, goods, and services they provide and relevant documentation to support their experience claims.

In this regard, UNICEF Yemen office is requesting for consultant to carry out a local market survey to identify suppliers of goods and services from whom UNICEF will obtain bids through publicly advertised competitive process in future procurement.

Please note that this process is to seek information about potential vendors/suppliers and their capacity to provide goods and services to UNICEF. It is not an invitation to tender or to submit a proposal.

Interested vendors/suppliers with the relevant experience and capacity should please complete the form and select the goods and services categories of their interest.

As a follow up to the RFI, UNICEF will arrange a sharing session on doing business with UNICEF.

Please note that this Request for Information is strictly for companies/corporate organizations and not for individuals.

Note: This is only a request for information for UNICEF Yemen country office to identify service providers and suppliers available in the market, it is not an indication of a tender or pre - qualification exercise.
